Introducing Natalie - Dubai Family & Brand Photographer

Natalie is originally from the UK and has been living in Dubai since 2010. The words creative, vibrant and a bit experimental come to mind when describing Natalie’s photography style!

Background

Mama to kids aged 15, 12 and 10 Natalie’s background is in learning and development; previously working in London in various training, development and graduate recruitment positions.

Following a move to Dubai and having her second baby in 2010, her interest in photography blossomed with the main aim of being able to capture better photos of her children. Natalie started off her photography journey in 2011 and has gone on from there to build a successful Dubai-based family photography business.

Natalie is an experienced photography teacher and is super excited to be launching a retreat - something that has been on her bucket list for years!

Teaching & Awards

Since 2017 Natalie has been designing, developing and delivering photography workshops and photo walks with her company The Photo Club UAE. Natalie became a @superfeelforphotographers photographer in 2018, was shortlisted at the annual Time Out Dubai Kids Awards for ‘Best Maternity / Family photographer in Dubai’ in 2019 and became a @clickcommunity Click Pro in 2020.

In 2021 she wrote the self-paced course ‘Fused: a guide to double exposures’ and in 2022 she launched @wildchild.me, a photography company focussing on children’s commercial shoots. She doesn’t sit still for long and invests a lot of time in working towards diversifying her photography business.

Personal Life

Natalie’s three children keep her super-busy when she’s not shooting, editing or mentoring other photographers. She is addicted to courses and self-development and in her spare time can be found listening and learning from others; then practicing and experimenting creatively with her camera. She loves her beagles, breakfast of any kind, her happy places are the mountains and the beach at sunset and regularly gets itchy feet for traveling somewhere new.
